Arnewood

Arnewood is a first-floor apartment for two in Swanage, next to the owners' home but with its own entrance gate and door. The beach, pubs and shops are all within a mile.

A small vestibule leads to a narrow staircase and the main living space, where seating, a TV and a dining area share the room with a bedroom area, divided off and holding a double bed for the two guests. There is a Juliet balcony and a distant glimpse of the sea. A step up leads to a compact kitchen with an electric hob, a combination microwave oven and a fridge with an ice compartment. A washing machine is available on request.

The bathroom next door has a shower over the bath and a WC. The apartment sits within the eaves, so head height is restricted in places, and a beam at floor level beside the bed means care is needed. Access is by the narrow staircase.

The private courtyard is enclosed and has seating, furniture and covered bike storage. A shared drive at the front has one off-road parking space, with more roadside parking subject to availability. Dogs are not allowed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out before 10am. The apartment suits a couple who want a studio-style layout with a courtyard and do not mind a narrow stair.
