Ballard Vista

Ballard Vista is a recently renovated apartment for two in a quiet conservation area of Swanage, close to the resort centre. The pub is 200 metres away, while the shop and the beach are both 0.5 miles away. There is no outdoor space, and dogs are not allowed.

The open-plan living area has a large bay window that looks over the church, the rooftops below and the hills and cliffs beyond, with a sofa to sit on and a TV and radio. The decor is grey and white, with a splash of colour. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer, a coffee machine and a washing machine. The one bedroom has a double bed, its own bay window and an en-suite shower room with a WC.

The stairs up to the apartment are quite steep and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Parking is on the street nearby, with no space of its own. The steam railway station is 0.5 miles away. Beach towels are not supplied. Arrivals are welcome from 4pm, and departure is before 10am.

It suits a couple who want a modern, quiet base with a view from the window and who are not bringing a dog.
