Barn Cottage

Barn Cottage is a stone-built holiday home on a farm 1 mile from Burton Bradstock, alongside other holiday homes. It sleeps six in a king-size bedroom, a twin and a twin zip-and-link, which can be made up as a super-king-size if you ask in advance.

The large lounge has a wood burner in an inglenook fireplace, with the first basket of logs supplied, and a Smart TV. A beamed dining room sits beside the kitchen, which has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher and washing machine. The house runs on biomass heating, and a travel cot and highchair are available.

There are two bathrooms: a shower room with a WC on the ground floor, and a family bathroom upstairs with a shower over the bath. The enclosed garden has lawns, a patio, outdoor furniture and a BBQ, and there is an ancient well in the front garden, so young children need supervision. The cottage has private parking for two cars and an extra space nearby.

Guests can use the shared games room, and a private function room can be hired separately, paid directly to the owner. Security cameras watch the front doors and the function and games rooms. Two dogs are welcome, though extra charges may apply. The pub is 1 mile away, the shop 1.5 miles and the beach 2 miles. The cottage can be booked alongside four others for up to 30 guests, and it suits a family or a group of friends who want a farm setting and a car for the coast.
