Cobblers Cottage

Cobblers Cottage is one of five holiday properties on a working farm 1 mile from Burton Bradstock. A covered porch leads into a single large lounge, kitchen and dining space, where bi-folding doors open onto the garden and a wood burner heats the room, with the first basket of logs supplied.

Six guests can stay. The twin bedroom is on the ground floor, next to a shower room with a WC, and upstairs are two king-size bedrooms and a family bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. The kitchen area has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher and washing machine, and there is a Smart TV. Heating comes from biomass, and a travel cot and highchair are also available.

Two outdoor spaces come with the cottage: an enclosed rear garden with a patio, lawn, BBQ and furniture, and a second patio at the front. The grounds also have a grassy stretch used for boules or French cricket, and guests can use the shared games room. The private function room is charged separately, directly to the owner, and cameras cover the front doors and both of those rooms. Two cars can park here, with more space nearby.

Bring up to two dogs; extra charges may apply. The pub is 1 mile off, the shop 1.5 miles and the beach 2 miles. It suits a family or two couples who want one big social room and a bedroom on the ground floor. The cottage can also be booked with four neighbouring properties for up to 30 guests.
