Hopscotch Cottage

Hopscotch Cottage is a stone cottage on a farm near Burton Bradstock. It sleeps six. The twin bedroom is on the ground floor with its own en-suite wet room, and there is a separate WC downstairs. The two king-size bedrooms are on the top floor, with sloping beamed ceilings, along with the family bathroom, which has a shower and a WC.

The open-plan lounge and dining room has a stone fireplace fitted with a wood burner, the first basket of logs supplied, and a Smart TV. The kitchen next to it has an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher and washing machine. Biomass heating runs the house, and both a travel cot and a highchair are available.

French doors open from the dining area to the enclosed garden, which has a lawn, a patio, outdoor furniture and a BBQ, and there is a larger shared area for the children. Guests may use the shared games room. A private function room can be hired for an extra charge, paid directly to the owner, and CCTV covers the front doors and the function and games rooms. Private parking takes two cars, with more space nearby.

A pair of dogs is welcome, with possible extra charges. It is 1 mile to the pub, 1.5 miles to the shop and 2 miles to the beach. It suits a family or a group of friends who want a ground-floor bedroom. The cottage can be booked with four other properties for up to 30 guests.
