Barnaby Cottage

Barnaby Cottage is a mid-terrace cottage for two guests at Lyme Regis, with a single double bedroom upstairs. The beach, pubs and shops are all 1 mile away, reached by a short drive or a downhill walk through fields and woods and along the riverbank. Axminster main line station is 5 miles off.

A stable door opens into a beamed, open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The lounge has an electric flame-effect fire, a Smart TV and Wi-Fi, and the compact kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a Tassimo coffee machine, a fridge, a freezer and a washing machine. The dining table has space for two. Upstairs, the double bedroom has the bathroom next door, with a bath, a shower over it and a WC. The cottage sits within the eaves, so parts of the first floor have restricted head height.

Outside is an enclosed patio with outdoor furniture, looking over a shared lawn with picnic benches and a pond, with a paddock with seating alongside. One off-road parking space comes with the cottage.

Dogs are not allowed. The cottage suits a couple who want a compact, quiet base a mile from Lyme Regis, with a patio for the evenings and a kitchen with everything for cooking in.
