Bear's Apartment

Bear's Apartment is on the fourth floor of a building on the outskirts of Castletown, on Portland. The open-plan living space has direct sea views and a balcony with furniture opening from the sitting area, and the double bedroom has balcony access too. The stairs matter here: the apartment is reached by internal stairs up to the fourth floor, and although the building has a lift, guests should not rely on it alone in case it is out of service for maintenance.

One car has a designated space in the car parking area. The leisure facilities, including the swimming pool, are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 to 4 and on Wednesday from 11 to 4. A shop and pub are 0.3 miles away, the beach 0.8 miles and Portland Marina 1.2 miles.

Four people sleep here: two in the double and two in a twin room with 2'6" single beds and an en-suite walk-in shower. The separate bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, and both bathrooms have heated towel rails. Cooking is on an electric oven and hob, with a microwave and a fridge-freezer. The apartment has central heating, a TV and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Pets and smoking are not allowed. It suits two couples or a small family who want sea views and a balcony and are happy to climb to the fourth floor.
