Coastguard View

Coastguard View is a holiday cottage at Portland Bill, on the end of the Isle of Portland, with views out to sea. It sleeps four in two bedrooms: a double on the ground floor and a twin. The only bathroom is a ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, and there is no bath. The kitchen, dining and sitting areas share one open-plan space.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a kettle, a toaster and a coffee maker. The Smart TV lets you log into your own Netflix, Prime and similar accounts, and WiFi is included. Central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are covered by the rent. Outside is an enclosed patio with a picnic bench.

Parking is a designated space for one car. The shop is 2.1 miles away, the pub 1.2 miles and the beach 3.7 miles. Pulpit Rock and Blacknor Fort are among the coastal sights on the island, and Weymouth has the SEA LIFE Centre. A good-housekeeping bond is payable.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. With a double and a twin and a single shower room, the cottage suits two couples, or a family of four, who want a sea-view stay at Portland Bill with a space for their own car.
