Blanche Cottage sits on a quiet, traffic-free lane in the Brewers Quay harbour area of Weymouth, near Newton's Cove and the Old Harbour. It spreads over three floors and takes up to five guests, with a pub 0.1 miles away, a shop at 0.2 miles and the beach at 0.4 miles.

Parking needs planning: there is none at the cottage. The nearest option is the pay and display Nothe car park, about five minutes' walk away. Inside, the open-plan room has a kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine, plus a dining area and a sitting area with a Smart TV. There is underfloor heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

The bedrooms are a double, a single and a twin on the second floor, and the twin is reached through the single bedroom. The only shower room is on the ground floor, with a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. The stairs are steep and the second floor has limited headroom. The twin room has restricted head height and may be unsuitable for young children or anyone with limited mobility, so check before booking. A rear patio has furniture.

The cottage is smoke-free and takes no pets; guests arrive from 4pm and leave by 10am. The cottage suits a family of five or a group of friends who do not mind steep stairs.
