Bowden Farm Cobble Cottage

Cobble Cottage stands at Kington Magna, near Shaftesbury, a short distance from the Somerset border and within reach of Motcombe. It is built for two guests. The single king-size bedroom is upstairs, and its en-suite bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC.

Downstairs is one open-plan room for living, cooking and eating, with doors out to the patio. The lounge end has two sofas and a TV with DVD, and the kitchen takes its own corner of the room and holds an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. Arrival is from 14:30 and departure is before 10:00.

Outside is an enclosed patio garden with furniture, and there is parking close to the cottage. The nearest shops are 3 miles away, the pub is 1.5 miles and the beach is 35 miles, so a car is useful. To the north of the cottage, the Somerset town of Bruton is a possible day out, and Shaftesbury is a few miles away.

Neither dogs nor cats are allowed in the cottage. The cottage suits a couple who want a quiet few days in the countryside near Shaftesbury, with a patio to sit out on and a car to get to the shops.
