Brewery View

Brewery View is a first-floor apartment in the Brewer's Quay conservation area of Weymouth. Newtons Cove lies at the end of the road, the harbour is about 5 minutes away, and Hope Square, close by, has cafes, pubs, a convenience store and a Post Office. A lift serves the apartment, but it can be out of action for maintenance, so be ready to use the stairs.

The open-plan main room combines a kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area with a TV. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, plus a kettle and toaster. There is WiFi, gas central heating, and a small balcony with furniture. The rent covers fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

Two bedrooms hold one double bed and a pair of single beds, and the apartment sleeps four. They share one bathroom, which has a bath, a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. A designated off-road space takes a single vehicle.

Pets and smoking are not allowed, and a refundable good-housekeeping bond is payable. On days when cruise ships dock at Portland, the road outside is a drop-off point for coaches, so expect more vehicles and visitors around the door. The apartment suits two couples or a small family who want a first-floor base near the harbour with a parking space of their own.
