Bridge Cottage - Powerstock

Bridge Cottage sits beside the river in Powerstock, a village near Bridport and not far from Shipton Gorge. The ground floor has a lounge with a wood burner and a Smart TV, a kitchen looking onto the garden, and the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. Upstairs are a king-size bedroom and a twin room, so it sleeps four.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher and a washing machine. The first basket of logs for the wood burner is supplied from October to April.

Behind the cottage is an enclosed garden with a lawn and a patio with furniture and a charcoal barbecue. Next to it is a further lawn area by the river, with a picnic bench for guests' private use. The river runs close by, so keep an eye on children and dogs near the water. Parking is on the road at the front of the cottage, with room for two cars.

One dog is allowed, and additional charges may apply. The pub is within 500 metres, the beach is 5 miles away and the nearest shop is 4 miles away. Subject to availability, the cottage can be booked with two further properties to sleep 16 in total. It suits a couple or a small family with a dog who want a lawn beside the river.
