Castle View Annex

Castle View Annex is in Harman's Cross, near Langton Matravers, and has a secure, gated private driveway. It is a single-storey annexe for two guests, and one well-behaved dog can come too. The owner lives next door.

The sitting room is the first room you reach, with a corner sofa bed, an armchair and a Smart TV. The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. The bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath, a handheld shower, a separate walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, and WiFi is provided. Heating is electric and gas central.

Outside is a small woodland garden with a barbecue, a bistro table and chairs, with glimpses of the Purbeck Hills. Enclosed chickens live at the side of the property and fresh eggs are provided, depending on what they have laid. The garden is child proof but not dog proof, so dogs should be kept on a lead. There is boot storage, and a highchair and travel cot are available. Smoking is not allowed. The shop is 0.25 miles away and the pub 2 miles. The annexe suits a couple, with or without a dog, who want a self-contained base.
