Worth Matravers Studio

Worth Matravers Studio is a contemporary extension to a traditional cottage in Worth Matravers, close to Langton Matravers. It is a retreat for two. The Priests Way passes close by, and the pub and the beach are both within walking distance, with the beach 1.5 miles away.

The main room combines a lounge, a kitchen and a dining area under a vaulted skylight, with large south-facing windows. There is a wood burner, a TV, a glass dining table in the window and a kitchen with an oven, a hob, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. A separate utility room holds the microwave, the washing machine and an extra sink. The bedroom is a king-size room, and the bathroom next to it has a bath, a separate shower and a WC. Bed linen, heating, electric and Wi-Fi are included.

Patio doors from the lounge open to a gravelled seating area with a BBQ and garden furniture, and beyond it is a large lawned garden. Guests have reported owls, badgers and pheasants there. Parking is outside, for one or two cars. Two dogs are welcome, but they must stay out of the bedroom and off the furniture, and additional charges may apply. Arrival from 15:30, departure before 10:00. The studio suits a couple who want a modern, light-filled base, with a dog or two.
