Sea Pink Cottage

Sea Pink Cottage is a Purbeck stone cottage in Langton Matravers, on the Isle of Purbeck and about two miles from Swanage. It is a single-storey home for two with steps inside, and it stands on the main road through the village. The village shop and the pub are both 0.1 miles away.

The one bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC. Living space is open plan, with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area warmed by an electric fire, and gas central heating is fitted. The appliances are an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge and a washing machine. There is a TV and WiFi, and a travel cot and a sofa bed can be provided.

Outside is a front garden with seating, and there is off-road parking for one car. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The cottage is part of the Old Malthouse School site, which is being redeveloped with new homes throughout 2025/2026, and the access route to the cottage is affected, which can change the approach and the outlook during a stay.

Walkers can set off from the door along the Priests Way, an ancient track between quarries and across fields. The cottage suits a couple, with or without a dog, who want a small base in the village and do not need a second bedroom.
