Cherry Tree Cottage - Dorset

Cherry Tree Cottage can be booked alone for two guests or alongside its neighbour, Little Tree Cottage, to make a party of four. An interconnecting door joins the two and is locked when not in use. The single-storey cottage stands on a farm in a valley near Milton Abbas, with Winterborne Stickland nearby, and a 1.5-mile walk over open farmland leads to Milton Abbas village.

A kitchen with an electric hob, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave opens into the living area, which has a sofa and seating, a dining table and a Smart TV. Outdoor furniture is provided. The bedroom has a king-size bed, a sofa bed in the living room can be requested at booking, and the shower room has a shower cubicle and WC.

Farm facilities are shared: the indoor heated swimming pool and sauna (booking on the day is required), a small gym, a games room with a pool table, a tennis court with rackets and balls, garden games with a play area, and a BBQ area. Laundry facilities are shared and payable. The riding centre needs advance booking and charges apply, and meeting the farm animals may carry a charge paid directly to the owner.

Private off-road parking is for one car, with more spaces available, and EV charging is on site. The cafe is 0.5 miles away, the pub 1.8 miles, the farm shop 4 miles (opening times may vary) and the beach 17 miles. No dogs are allowed. It suits a couple, or a family and friends travelling in two cottages side by side.
