Little Tree Cottage - Dorset

Little Tree Cottage is one half of a pair. It sleeps two, and when you book it together with Cherry Tree Cottage next door, an interconnecting door opens between them to give a party of four. The door is kept locked otherwise. Both stand on a farm in a valley close to Milton Abbas, with Winterborne Stickland also nearby.

Inside, the open-plan living area has a fitted kitchen with an electric hob and oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave, then a sitting area with a sofa, an armchair, a dining table with chairs and a Smart TV. The bedroom has a king-size bed. A sofa bed can be added if you ask at the time of booking, and the bathroom has a shower cubicle and WC. A welcome pack is supplied, and a travel cot and highchair come on request.

The farm's shared amenities include an indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, which need booking on the day, a small gym, a games room with a pool table, a tennis court with rackets and balls supplied, garden games with a play area and a BBQ area. Shared laundry is payable. Riding lessons and hacks run from the on-site riding centre, with charges and advance booking, and meeting the animals may cost extra, paid straight to the owner.

Off-road parking is private for one car, with more spaces available, and EV charging is available on site. The cafe is 0.5 miles away, the pub 1.8 miles, the farm shop 4 miles (opening times may vary), the shop 5 miles and the beach 17 miles. No dogs are allowed. It suits a couple who want the farm's pool and games room, or a group who take both cottages.
