Thimble Cottage

Thimble Cottage is a one-bedroom house in Winterborne Stickland that dates back to around 1850, with exposed beams inside. It sleeps two. The pub is 0.1 miles away, the shop is 4.1 miles, and Blandford Forum is 4.2 miles from the door.

Downstairs, one open-plan space holds the kitchen, a dining table for two and the sitting area with a wall-mounted Smart TV. There is a utility, and the bathroom is also on the ground floor, with a bath, a shower over it, a basin and a WC. The double bedroom is up the stairs, and the property has internal steps, so take care. Heating is oil-fired central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. WiFi is included. Outside is an enclosed courtyard with a patio and furniture. Parking is private and off-road, and EV charging is available. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not allowed, and barbecues and open fires are not permitted. A good housekeeping bond is payable.

Thimble Cottage is paired with Barrow Lodge, and the two can be booked together for four guests. On its own it suits a couple with a dog who want a small place with its own parking and a courtyard.
