Orchard View Cottage - Dorset

Orchard View Cottage is a single-storey barn conversion on a farm in a valley near Milton Abbas, with Winterborne Stickland nearby. It is reached by exterior steps. It is booked for two guests, and the main bedroom has a king-size bed plus a single bed suitable for a child.

The living room and kitchen share one open-plan space. The sofa converts into a sofa bed for one person, which you ask for when booking, and there is a Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, a fridge and freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave, and the bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC. A welcome pack is provided.

Out on the balcony there is furniture for sitting out. Guests can use the farm's indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, which are booked on the day, plus a small gym, a games room with pool and football tables, garden games, a tennis court with rackets and balls supplied, and a BBQ area. Shared laundry is payable. Riding at the on-site centre needs advance booking and carries charges, and meeting the animals may carry a charge paid to the owner.

The off-road parking is private for one car, with more spaces available, and EV charging is available. The cafe is 0.5 miles away, the pub 1.8 miles, the farm shop 4 miles, the shop 5 miles and the beach 17 miles. Dogs are not allowed. It suits a couple who want a farm with a pool, games and animals.
