Chewton Den

Chewton Den is a modern annexe in Highcliffe, built on tiny-house principles and next to the owner's home. Highcliffe is a village near Christchurch. The annexe sleeps two in a single open-plan room, so it is a place for a couple.

The sitting and dining area has a sofa, a fold-down table and chairs for two that store away, and a coal-effect stove in the corner. Behind it are a wardrobe, the double bed and a kitchenette with an induction hob, a combi microwave/oven, a fridge/freezer and a filter coffee maker. A door leads to the shower room. The Smart TV has Netflix and Bluetooth speakers, and welcome essentials are provided on arrival.

French doors open onto an enclosed courtyard with seating, sun loungers and a water feature. There is private parking for one car. Shops, pubs and restaurants are a quarter of a mile away, and the beach is half a mile away. Highcliffe Castle is 1 mile away, and the village has cafes and local shops. Bikes can be rented from the council-run hire stands for rides along the coast.

Two dogs are allowed, and the courtyard is enclosed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is before 10am. The annexe has one double bed, so it suits a couple, with or without dogs.
