Chitcombe Barn

Chitcombe Barn stands at the end of a long shared drive that crosses a working farmyard at Woolland, in the Blackmore Vale and near Winterborne Stickland. It sleeps six in three bedrooms, and the private entrance door is on the side of the building.

Inside the door, a utility area with a washing machine sits in the hall, with a shower room and WC straight ahead and a king-size bedroom to the right. The centre of the barn is an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area under a vaulted ceiling. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and the lounge has a wood burner and a Smart TV. A second king-size bedroom leads off it, and a short flight of stairs goes up to the twin bedroom and a second shower room.

The front courtyard garden is fully enclosed, with furniture and a BBQ, and a sun terrace on one side. A grassed open space for guests lies across the courtyard, and a tumble dryer and chest freezer are kept within the courtyard. Off-road parking is ample, and there is EV charging. The shop and pub are 2.5 miles away.

The water supply is private, and changeover day moves to Saturday between 1 November and 30 January. Up to two dogs are allowed, with additional charges that may apply. A highchair is available on request. The barn suits a family or a group of six who want a farm setting.
