Church Cottage

Church Cottage is a thatched house in Piddlehinton, a village near Dorchester, with Piddletrenthide close by. It sleeps six in three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin, and the pub is 500 metres from the door.

The back entrance leads into a farmhouse-style kitchen and dining area built around a wooden table. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a microwave, while the washing machine is in the outhouse/garage. The living room has ceiling beams, a Smart TV and a wood burner set in a brick fireplace, and the first basket of logs is supplied. There is a WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, the one family bathroom has a bath and a separate shower, so six guests share a single bathroom.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden is mostly lawn, with a patio for eating outdoors and steps up to a second patio. Private off-road parking takes two cars, although the access is shared with the neighbouring property. The nearest shop is 2 miles away and the beach is 13 miles.

Up to two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The cottage suits a family or two couples travelling with a dog or two, who want a garden for them to use. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00.
