Claire Cottage

Claire Cottage keeps things compact: two bedrooms, one shower room and a kitchen/diner, in the heart of Swanage and 0.1 miles from the beach.

The cottage sleeps four. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other is a bunk room with a single bed over a double.

The only bathroom is a shower room with a walk-in shower, a heated towel rail, a basin and a WC, so there is no bath. The kitchen/diner has a dining table, an oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a kettle and a toaster, and the sitting room, the first room you enter, has a TV. WiFi is there too, and the rent includes fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

Designated off-road parking is for one car. The shop is 0.3 miles away and the pub 0.4 miles. Swanage Pier, Durlston Country Park and Poole Quay Boat Haven are among the places to visit around the cottage, and Splashdown waterpark and Bournemouth Oceanarium are further days out. No pets and no smoking; a good-housekeeping bond applies. Right for a family or friends happy to share a bunk room, and for two couples who do not mind a shower instead of a bath.
