Coastal Blue

Coastal Blue is a four-bedroom semi-detached house on the pebbled shore of Ringstead Bay, in Ringstead. The beach and a cafe are each 150 metres away, the pub is 1 mile and the nearest shop is 5 miles. A gravel drive and a five-bar gate lead to the house. The heart of it is an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with an L-shaped sofa, a Smart TV, a large dining table and sliding doors to the garden and pool. The galleried landing has a picture window with the first panoramic sea view.

The kitchen has an American-style fridge-freezer, an electric oven and hob, a microwave and two dishwashers, and the utility room has a washing machine. One king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower is on the ground floor. Upstairs are a twin or super-king room, a double with an en-suite shower, and a family room with a king-size bed, a single and an en-suite bathroom with a bath. An extra single bed can be added to the family room on request. Two highchairs and a travel cot are available. The house is booked for nine guests.

The enclosed garden has an electric hot tub, a swimming pool, a gas BBQ and a raised sun deck with sea views. Private steps lead from it to the beach. The pool is heated from Easter to October half term, depending on the weather, a pool attendant visits daily and children and dogs need supervising near it. A summer house has a sofa bed, a TV, a fridge and a shower room with a WC. There is private parking for four cars, plus a fifth space in the adjacent car park. A static caravan within the boundary is an office for the adjacent caravan site and is not slept in while the house is occupied.

Dogs are welcome, to a maximum of two, and additional charges may apply. The house suits two or three families with children who want a pool and the beach in the same place.
