Woodlands Cottage

Woodlands Cottage is a bungalow in Ringstead, set among trees on the edge of Ringstead Wood and about 0.5 miles from the beach. There are glimpses of the sea through the trees from the garden. The garden itself is very large, enclosed, laid to lawn and south-facing.

Everything is on the ground floor, reached from the rear of the property. The kitchen is large and has a separate dining area, and the sitting room has an open fire, with logs provided in autumn and winter. The three bedrooms are a double and two twins, and they share a bathroom with a bath and a second WC with a basin and shower. The cottage has a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and oil-fired central heating. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included, and a cot is available if you bring your own cot linen.

Private off-road parking takes two cars. The two well-behaved dogs allowed may not go in the bedrooms or on the furniture. The duvets and pillows may contain feathers, and mobile signal varies by network. Smoking is not allowed.

Bookings change over on Fridays only. Another day may be possible by prior agreement, and check-in is then at 6pm. The Reef café at the beach car park is about half a mile away. The bungalow suits a family or a group of walkers with their dogs, and it can be booked together with Pitt Cottage, The Transmitter Bunker and The Standby Generator Bunker.
