Ridgeway

Ridgeway is a detached house in the hamlet of Ringstead, with the shingle beach 100 metres from the front door. The pub and restaurant are 1 mile away on foot or 3 miles by car, and the nearest shop is 3.5 miles away. You park at the back, where there is private space for three cars, and enter by the rear lobby, which has a utility room with a washing machine and a shower room with a WC.

The open-plan living space has a cooking area with an oven, hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, a breakfast bar, a dining table for six and a lounge corner with a Freeview TV. The ground floor also has the king-size bedroom, with a bathroom with a bath next to it. A spiral, open-tread staircase leads to the first-floor twin and double bedrooms, and the double has its own snug and a small balcony. The garage holds an extra fridge/freezer and a freezer and has room for bikes and outdoor gear. A travel cot and a stairgate are available on request.

The wraparound garden has a large lawn, and a patio with a picnic bench and parasol. It is not enclosed and is open to the neighbouring property, so dogs must be kept on a lead.

Up to two dogs can stay, and additional charges may apply. The house suits a family or two couples who want a short walk to the beach, a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and parking for several cars.
