Coastguard Lookout

Coastguard Lookout stands in Wyke Regis, a village on the south-western side of Weymouth and two miles from the town centre. Pirates Cove, a sheltered sandy inlet on the Fleet Lagoon, is minutes away, and the cottage looks out over the Fleet from its Juliet balcony.

The living spaces are on the first floor: a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with the balcony, a TV, a Blu-ray player and WiFi. Sleeping is a king-size double on the ground floor and a second double, with gas central heating and underfloor heating on the ground floor. One bathroom has a bath with a shower over.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is no separate freezer, only a small freezer box in the fridge. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Off-road parking takes one car, and outside there is a bench to sit on.

The shop is 0.8 miles away, a pub 0.5 miles and the beach 1.1 miles. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. No pets and no smoking. The cottage suits a couple or a small family who want to be near the Fleet and a few miles from Weymouth's long sandy beach.
