Connaught Gardens

Connaught Gardens is a large detached house in a small residential development on the edge of Weymouth. Downstairs there is a kitchen/diner, a separate utility room, a dining room, a sitting room, a sun room and a cloakroom, and the house has a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Three bedrooms sleep six, and every one has blackout curtains. The main bedroom is a super king-size double with its own en-suite shower room, and the others are a double and a twin. The family bathroom has a bath, a hand-held shower and a separate shower. A cot, a highchair and a stairgate can be provided for small children.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a lawn and a patio with furniture, and off-road parking takes two cars. Weymouth's beach, harbour and town centre are a short distance away, Chesil Beach is two miles in the other direction, and the nearest shop is 0.9 miles from the door with a pub a mile away.

Neither pets nor smoking are allowed. Bookings run for a whole week only, either 7 or 14 nights, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The owners keep a fourth bedroom, some cupboards and the garage locked for their own storage, and the summer house is not available to guests. The house suits one large family or two couples who want a garden, parking and room to spread out.
