Court House Farmhouse

Court House Farmhouse stands on the edge of the village of Whitchurch Canonicorum, on a working farm, about three miles from Charmouth along the South West Coast Path. It sleeps eleven in five bedrooms. Three are on the ground floor, two doubles and a twin, with a bathroom (bath with shower over) and a shower room alongside. Upstairs are a double with an extra child's single bed and an en-suite shower, and a twin.

The large kitchen/diner has two electric ovens and hobs, two microwaves, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer, and a second, smaller kitchen sits along the hallway. The sitting room has a TV with FreeSat and an electric fire, and the conservatory looks out over the farm's grounds. WiFi comes via Starlink. Oil central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. A highchair and cot are available on request.

The enclosed lawned garden has furniture and a barbecue. A private hot tub stands by the games barn, which holds table tennis, pool, darts and skittles. The barn is not heated. Parking is off-road, and the river is 0.3 miles away, the pub 0.75 miles and the shop 2 miles.

Two dogs are welcome, and the owner will consider more if you call to discuss it. Smoking is not allowed, stag and hen parties and similar gatherings are not permitted, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Changeovers are on Mondays only from Easter to September, so enquire first about other dates. The farmhouse suits two or three families, or a large group of friends, who want a games barn and a hot tub.
