Beatrice House

Beatrice House is a detached house in Charmouth with a private entrance reached by a short path from the lane. The beach, pubs and shops are all within walking distance. It sleeps nine across five bedrooms, so it works for a big family or two families travelling together, and four dogs are welcome (additional charges apply).

The ground floor holds an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room with a Smart TV and doors to the garden. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine, and the utility room has a washing machine. A king-size zip-and-link bedroom with French doors to the garden is on this floor, as is a bathroom with a bath, a separate shower and a WC. A step up from the kitchen leads to a wing with a second king-size bedroom upstairs; the two wing bedrooms share a ground-floor shower room with WC.

Back through the main hall, stairs lead to three more bedrooms: a king-size, a king-size zip-and-link and a single. Both zip-and-link rooms can be set up as 2ft 6in twins on request. Every bedroom has a Smart TV, and the ones upstairs look towards the sea, those on the first floor at a distance. A shower room with WC completes the first floor.

The fully enclosed garden has a lawn, a patio with furniture and a raised patio with a gazebo and a charcoal BBQ. Driveways on both sides of the house give off-road parking for up to three cars. Guests check in from 4pm and leave by 10am.
