Cove Street Cottage

Cove Street Cottage is a three-storey home in the middle of Weymouth, with the shop, pub and harbour each 0.1 miles away and the beach 0.5 miles. It sleeps four. The kitchen has a washing machine, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a microwave and a fridge/freezer, and the living/dining room has a TV and WiFi. Gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

The bedrooms are a king-size on the second floor and a twin, both served by one bathroom with a bath, a walk-in shower, a basin and a heated towel rail. A highchair and a travel cot can be requested. On the first floor, a decked terrace with furniture is set up for eating outside.

Parking is not at the door. The nearest pay and display car park is the Nothe car park, a few minutes' walk away, and charges apply. Two free festivals, Fayre in the Square (usually the late May Bank Holiday weekend) and the Wessex Folk Festival (usually the first weekend of June), close the harbour and Hope Square to traffic, which can mean road closures and parking restrictions.

The stairs throughout the house are open tread, so take care on them. Pets and smoking are not allowed. The cottage suits a family of four or two couples who are happy with several flights of stairs and want to be on foot from the door.
