Cuckoo Cottage

Cuckoo Cottage is a contemporary cottage attached to the owner's own home, in Bridport in west Dorset. The whole ground floor is one open-plan room with the kitchen, a dining table and a sofa, and the shop is 0.4 miles away with the pub at 0.7 miles.

A staircase leads to the only bedroom, which has a king-size bed that can be set up as twin beds on request, a TV with Freeview and sloping windows. The bathroom has a bath, a shower, a basin and a WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and the living area has a 43-inch Smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker.

Outside there is a private patio with furniture and a private part of the lawned garden, which is shared with the owner. The cottage has off-road parking in a designated space on a private driveway. No pets and no smoking are allowed. A good-housekeeping bond is payable, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Markets are held in the town twice a week, and Palmer's Brewery runs tours and tastings.

It suits a couple who want a one-bedroom cottage with its own patio and parking, and a cot and highchair can be supplied for a small child.
