Homeleigh Hut

This shepherd's hut stands on a working farm at Salwayash, near Bridport, and sleeps two. It sits alongside another similar property, reached along a footpath, and a short set of steps leads up to the stable door. It is 3 miles to shops and pubs and 3.5 miles to the beach.

Inside is one open-plan space. A double bed fills the end of the hut, with a TV on aerial channels only. The kitchen area has an electric two-ring hob, a combination microwave oven and a fridge. The shower room, with a shower and WC, is to the right of the entrance. Wi-Fi is available.

Outside, a deck with furniture sits beside the hut, and an enclosed lawn has a fire pit. An outdoor store is provided for wet coats and boots. Private parking for two cars is within 200 metres of the hut rather than beside it.

Carp fishing is offered on the farm for a fee, and guests book it with the owner before they arrive. The hut can be booked alongside another property that sleeps a further two guests. It does not accept children over 2 years old. One dog can come too, for an extra charge. The hut suits a couple, or a couple with a dog, who want a night or two on a farm.
