No. 6

No. 6 is a terraced cottage in the middle of Bridport, refurbished throughout, with one king-size bedroom for two guests. The front door opens into a sitting room with exposed beams and a feature fireplace. At the back, the newly fitted kitchen/diner has an electric oven, a gas hob, a fridge freezer, a washing machine, a coffee maker and an air fryer.

Slightly steep stairs lead up to the bedroom, where the bed has a metal frame, an Emma mattress and a Simba hybrid duvet, and the room has a restored original fireplace. The shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. Gas central heating is fitted, there is a TV and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

One well-behaved small dog is welcome. There is no allocated parking at the cottage: roadside spaces are available, subject to what is free. The shop and the pub are each 0.1 miles away, so the town's pubs, restaurants and independent shops are all within a short walk. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The cottage suits a couple, with or without a small dog, who want to leave the car and explore Bridport on foot.
