Dairy Cottages - Ploughman's Row No 3

Ploughman's Row No 3 is a former barn tucked into a private complex of four similar properties in the hamlet of Wigbeth, Horton, near Verwood. It sleeps four. The private entrance is reached through a shared courtyard garden at the front and opens straight into a single-storey layout.

The lounge, kitchen and dining space share one room with an island and a beamed, vaulted ceiling. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave and a washing machine, and opposite is the lounge with a Smart TV that is internet-only, with terrestrial channels through pre-loaded apps. Heating and hot water come from air-source heat pumps.

Next to the living space is a king-size zip-and-link bedroom, which can be made up as twin beds on request, with an en-suite shower open to the room and a separate WC. The second bedroom is a super-king-size with an en-suite shower room and WC. A travel cot and highchair are available. Bifold doors lead from the kitchen to a fully enclosed courtyard-style garden with furniture, and guests can use the shared paddock.

One off-road parking space comes with the cottage, with a second normally available on request. A pay-as-you-go electric vehicle charging point is on site. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The cottage is not suitable for wheeled mobility aids. The shop is 3 miles away and the pub 2.5 miles. It suits a family of four, or two couples, with a dog.
