Heather Villa

Heather Villa is a studio-style annexe attached to the owners' home at Ashley Heath, near Ringwood and Verwood. It has its own private entrance, reached from a gravelled parking area with room for two cars. It sleeps two, in a king-size bedroom. Children and babies are not accepted.

The door opens into the kitchen, which has an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The open-plan lounge and dining area overlooks the garden and has a Smart TV. An open arch leads to the king-size bedroom, and the shower room with a WC is off the lounge. Wi-Fi is available, but mobile signal is very poor here and across the New Forest.

An enclosed patio with garden furniture sits directly off the lounge, backed by the forest. A few rules apply. There is no smoking or vaping anywhere on the grounds, no barbecues because of the fire risk, and no dogs. Electric car charging is not permitted. Electric bikes can be charged outside, but not inside the property.

A shop and a pub are within walking distance, and the beach is 8 miles away. The annexe suits a couple without children who want a quiet base by the forest.
