Dragonfly - Wild Meadow Cottages

Dragonfly is one of two semi-detached cottages built in 2019 on a working farm in the Broadwey area of Weymouth. The beach is 2.5 miles off, and a shop and a pub are both 1 mile away. Two off-road spaces serve the cottage, and a short path runs from them to the front door.

The super-king-size bedroom upstairs has a free-standing bath, a Smart TV, an en-suite WC and a Juliet balcony facing the countryside; with luck you may see some of the farm's livestock from it. The twin room has its own en-suite shower and WC and a Smart TV. A third shower room and WC lead off the living space downstairs, so there are three bathrooms in all.

Downstairs, a porch for coats and boots opens into a lounge, kitchen and diner with bi-fold doors onto the garden. The wood burner comes with logs. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave, with a Ninja air fryer and a smoothie maker. Bathrobes are included and there is internet access.

The private enclosed garden at the back holds a hot tub, a charcoal BBQ and furniture. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a shared utility room in the atrium between the cottages, and a shared orchard lies behind the garden. Bike storage is available. One dog is allowed, with additional charges, but not upstairs or in the orchard, and not a dog of 12 months or younger. Dragonfly suits two couples or a small family who want a hot tub and a wood burner.
