Driftwood

The twin bedroom at Driftwood is reached by a winding staircase that is narrow and quite steep, so it is unsuitable for young children and for anyone with impaired mobility. This Grade II listed terraced cottage in Weymouth runs over three floors, with the double bedroom on the first floor and the twin in the eaves on the second.

The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The kitchen has an oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge, a washing machine, a kettle and a toaster, and the open-plan living and dining room has a seating area with a TV, a dining area with seating, and WiFi. Heating is central, and fuel and power, bed linen and towels come with the rent.

At the front, a private patio has a picnic bench, and the drive has room for one car. The beach and a pub are each 0.2 miles away, and a shop is 0.3 miles.

The property takes two well-behaved small dogs or one well-behaved larger dog. Shorter stays are offered in winter, off-season and at the last minute. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Driftwood works for a couple with a dog, or two couples sharing, who are comfortable with a steep staircase.
