D'urberville House - Swanage

D'urberville House is a detached house in Swanage, reached up a gently sloping driveway that takes three cars. The beach, shops and pubs are within walking distance. Inside, the hallway has room for coats and boots.

At the back, the kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine, with a tumble dryer in the garage. The lounge/diner has a wood burner, with the first basket of logs included, a Smart TV and a dining space, and bi-fold doors to the garden. A snug off the hall has a Smart TV, a sofa and space for games.

Upstairs are three bedrooms: a super-king-size, a twin and a bunk room, and the super-king and twin rooms each have a TV and DVD player. A shower room with a WC is on this floor, and the bathroom with a shower over the bath is downstairs. Towels are included, apart from beach towels.

The landscaped garden has a patio with furniture next to the house and a second seating area with a fire pit. A lawn at the side belongs to the property and has room for a ball game, but it is unenclosed. Two dogs are welcome, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out before 10am. The house suits a family or a group of six, with one or two dogs, who want room to park several cars and a garden with a fire pit.
