Fenders

Fenders is a traditional stone cottage in a terrace, slightly raised behind the old harbour in Weymouth, with shops, restaurants and bars within a five-minute walk. A few stone steps lead up to the front door and into the sitting room, and the ground floor also has a dining room and a galley-style kitchen.

Double doors give access to an enclosed courtyard garden with patio furniture. A wet room is on the ground floor. Upstairs are a double bedroom and a twin single bedroom, along with a cloakroom with a WC and basin. The cottage takes up to four adults. Gas central heating, a CD system and radio, a TV and WiFi are provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Two dogs are welcome and smoking is not allowed. A cot and highchair are available, and guests bring their own cot linen. There is roadside parking nearby on a first-come basis, and the Nothe pay and display council car park is a ten-minute walk. The house next door has chimney repairs planned for November 2026, and scaffolding may affect the front of Fenders. It suits a couple or a small family with a dog, though the steps and stairs mean it is not for anyone who finds them difficult.
