Fiddlesticks Cottage

Fiddlesticks Cottage is a detached, stone-fronted house from the 19th century in the town of Beaminster, with a shop 0.1 miles away and a pub 0.2 miles. The living space is a sitting room with an electric flame-effect stove, a kitchen/diner and a sunroom. There are two bathrooms: one upstairs with a bath and a shower over it, and a ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower.

The two bedrooms are a king-size and a twin. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and the TV comes with a Blu-ray and DVD player and WiFi. Gas central heating warms the house, and fuel and power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Two steps lead up to the enclosed patio, which has furniture but no handrail on the steps or along the edge. Parking is at the roadside. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The owners do not accept children under 7, and smoking is not allowed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is at 10am. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits two couples, or a couple and a dog, who want to walk to a pub and a shop.
