Half Pint Cottage

Half Pint Cottage is a 250-year-old house in the middle of Beaminster, with a shop 0.2 miles away, a pub 0.1 miles and a lake 0.6 miles. The kitchen/diner has a large dining table, a dishwasher, an electric oven and a gas hob, and the sitting room has a Smart TV, a desk and a selection of games. The designated off-road space takes two cars.

Upstairs are the two bedrooms. The double has a small sofa in it, and there is a step down into the twin. Beams restrict head height in both rooms. A shower room with a walk-in shower is the only bathroom, and gas central heating warms the house. WiFi is included, along with fuel and power, bed linen and towels.

The enclosed garden has a patio and a lawn, with three steps up to the lawn. A shed at the bottom holds bicycles. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. The minimum stay is 3 nights, and from April to the end of September bookings run for a week at a time, starting on a Friday. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits two couples, or a family with dogs, who want to leave the car and walk to the town.
