Finch Cottage - Osmington

Finch Cottage is a house at Osmington, near Weymouth, with its living space on the ground floor and the bedrooms up a steep cottage-style staircase. It sleeps six in two double bedrooms and a twin, and it has two bathrooms: a ground-floor one with a walk-in shower and WC, and an upstairs one with a bath and overhead shower.

Downstairs there are two sitting areas. One is a lounge with two sofas, a TV and a wood burner, with logs included from October to the end of April, and the other is an open-plan lounge and dining room with a breakfast bar and a Hi-Fi. Games and books are provided. The kitchen has an oven, an electric hob, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster, and there are also a dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Outside is a garden with seating and a BBQ, walled and gravelled. Parking is on the street, with plenty of space, and the property is close to the main road. A utility room is the place to clean muddy dogs and dry wet gear: one dog is allowed, and additional charges may apply.

The shop and cafe are 200 metres away and the pub is 1.3 miles. Check-in is from 15:00 and departure is before 10:00. It suits a family of up to six, with a dog, who are fine with steep stairs and street parking.
