Rose Cottage

Guests at Rose Cottage come in through the kitchen, because the old front door does not open. The thatched cottage is in Osmington, with a private driveway for six cars. The living and dining room has beams, flagstone-tiled flooring, a leather corner sofa and a Smart TV, and the fire in the living room is inactive.

Three bedrooms sleep six: a king-size, a double with an en-suite walk-in shower, and a single with a trundle. The trundle bed needs to be made up when six are staying, so ask for it at least seven days before arrival. There are three bathrooms in all, with a family bathroom (bath and shower over), the en-suite, and a ground-floor shower room.

The kitchen has a double electric oven, an electric hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a kettle and a toaster, and a separate utility holds the washing machine. Gas and electricity, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Outside is a large garden with a lawn, patio and furniture.

The pub is 0.1 miles away and the nearest shop 1.5 miles. Neither pets nor smoking are allowed, and a good housekeeping bond is payable. The cottage suits a family of up to six, or a group of friends, who want plenty of parking and a garden.
