The Gannets

The Gannets is a house of four bedrooms in the hamlet of Osmington Mill, on a no-through private road in the Osmington area. It stands in about a third of an acre and sleeps six. On the ground floor are a double bedroom, a single bedroom and the main bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. Upstairs are a king-size with an en-suite shower room and a hidden balcony over the garden, and a second single.

The inner hallway is set up as a snug with a TV and a Wii. The living room has the wood burner, sofas and a Smart TV with a basic Sky package, and the dining room at the back looks onto the garden. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher and a decorative AGA, and a separate utility room has a washing machine and a second freezer.

The rear garden is enclosed and has furniture. Two cars fit off the road, one on either side of the house, and the access lane is narrow, though suitable for medium to large vehicles. The shop is 2 miles away, the pub 0.5 miles and the beach 3 miles.

Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 16:00 and departure is before 10:00. It suits a family with children and dogs who want a snug, a games console and a garden.
