L'atelier

L'atelier is a detached house at Osmington, near Weymouth, up a sloping drive and tucked in among trees. It sleeps six. Downstairs are a hallway with a tiled floor, a utility area with a shower room and the washing machine, a kitchen-diner with a large central table, and a lounge with an electric flame-effect wood burner and a TV.

The three bedrooms are on the first floor: a double with its own en-suite shower room, and two twin rooms that share the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. Head height is restricted in places under the eaves. A single folding bed can be requested as an extra. There is a TV in the double bedroom as well as the lounge.

The kitchen has a gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The garden is mostly at the front, with a patio and furniture, a lawn bordered by established planting, and distant views over the bay and countryside. Off-road parking is for 3 cars.

Two dogs are allowed, with additional charges that may apply. The beach is 2 miles away, and the pub and shop are within 1 mile. Check-in is from 15:00 and departure is before 10:00. It suits a family or two couples with dogs who want three bathrooms and room to park.
