The living and dining room has a wood-burning stove as well as gas central heating, and the kitchen holds a gas oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster. There is a Smart TV and WiFi. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all in the rent, and a cot and highchair are provided. The double bedroom has an en-suite cloakroom with a basin and WC but no shower, so the only shower is the walk-in one in the ground-floor shower room.

Behind the house, the enclosed garden rises in several decked levels and has furniture. Parking is on the street, a few minutes' walk away, and spaces are not guaranteed. King Street is on a steep hill. The ground in front of the cottage is for loading and unloading only, so drive round the one-way system and use the free roadside spaces at the top of the hill.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome and smoking is not allowed. It suits two couples or a small family with a dog who are fine with a steep street and a short walk from the car.
