Flat 5 Penlu sits on the second floor in Swanage. A lift runs up from the shared entrance. The dining table stands in front of an unusual circular bay window, with views down to the town and out to sea. The beach, the shop and the pub are each 350 metres away.

From the hallway, where there is space for coats and shoes, the lounge/dining room has a sofa, a large TV with Freeview, a DVD player and a Bluetooth speaker. Just off it is the kitchen, with integrated appliances and under-counter lighting: an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Across the hallway are two bedrooms. One has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. The other has twin zip-and-link beds that can be joined as a second king-size on request. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Infants under two years old are not accepted, and the building stands on a steep hill. There is private parking for one small car. The flat comes with a welcome pack. Beach towels are brought by guests. The apartment does not take dogs. Check-in begins at 4pm, with check-out due before 10am.

The flat suits two couples or a family with children over two who want the beach and the shops 350 metres away and a lift to the door.
