Footprint

Footprint is a mews cottage, a conversion of the original stables of the Devenish Brewery, and it sits inside the gated Shire Horse Mews development in Weymouth. A small decked area at the front has two chairs. Indoors there is a kitchen, a cloakroom and a sitting room with a dining area.

Two bedrooms sleep five. The first has a king-size bed and a single, with an en-suite shower room, and the second is a twin with two single beds; this twin room is very small. A separate bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and a cot is available if guests bring their own cot linen. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and owners of two small dogs should enquire first. Parking is off-road behind electric gates and is for one car, with an allocated standard-size covered space. The WiFi is shared with a neighbouring property. Smoking is not allowed. A shop and pub are five minutes away, the harbour ten, and Weymouth's sands about a 15-minute walk.

It is best for a family of up to five, or a couple with a dog, who like the security of a gated mews.
