Frome Lodge House

Frome Lodge House is a single-storey, two-bedroom house on the outskirts of the village of Frome Whitfield, 2.2 miles from Dorchester. It overlooks Frome Water Meadows, has off-road parking for two cars and an enclosed rear lawned garden with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The shop and pub are 0.3 miles away.

The open-plan living area has a kitchen, a dining area with patio access and a sitting area built around a woodburning stove. The kitchen has an oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, and there are a TV, a Roku streaming device and WiFi. The bedrooms are a king-size and a single with a pull-out bed, and the bathroom has a small bath with a shower over it. Oil central heating, fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. A highchair and travel cot are available on request.

Arrival is on a Saturday only: a booking for any other arrival day is cancelled. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am, and smoking is not allowed. It suits a family of four, or two couples sharing, who are travelling with dogs and want a country base with space to park two cars.
